SEWING FOR MOM: KNIT FLORAL DRESS USING MCCALL 7561
HI DARLINGS! Mom did so great so this week showing off her looks. She is ending the week in this knit floral dress using MCCALL 7561 and this super soft jersey from JOANN FABRICS. She loves this dress so much, she said she feels pretty, and that is always a win. The pattern is beyond easy; it’s part of the McCall “Learn To Sew For Fun” Pattern. The only change I made was to add a neckband instead of just folding under and stitching as instructed in the pattern. I just measured the neckline minus 1″ and cut a 2″ wide piece of fabric.
This fabric isn’t online as far I could see, but it may still be in store. I loved how soft it was and although I don’t usually buy fabric from Joann every now and then when I walk info thread or a zipper I will glance over at the fabric.
