The 4th Annual Mimi G Fashion, Sewing & Style Conference is the must attend event of the year. This will be an AMAZING three days filled with classes, video demos, live demos, special speakers, and a private fabric shopping trip!
NEW!!!! Opening reception and Attendee Fashion Show on Friday the 19th! YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS IT! You will be able to submit your looks and show off your “Mimi G Inspired” creations. Spaces will be limited and more info will be posted soon.
This year we will be offering a schedule for Beginners and a schedule for Advanced Beginners/Intermediates! CHOOSE YOUR REGISTRATION TICKET BASED ON YOUR LEVEL.
BEGINNERS: Our beginners will enjoy detailed classes on picking fabric, understanding and learning fabric content, choosing the right needles, the proper threads, basic and common fitting issues, commercial patterns and sizing, 20 techniques to elevate your sewing, and so much more!! Guest Speaker and Mimi G.
ADVANCED BEGINNERS/INTERMEDIATE: Our advanced beginners will be focusing on pattern modifications, plus size pattern modifications and fitting fixes, grading patterns and tailoring samples with a hands on approach and a lot more!! Special Guest Gentleman Jim, Master Tailor and Mimi G
There will be sewing machine giveaways, gift bags, cash prizes and a ton of FUN!! If you have ever wanted to learn the fundamentals of sewing, intermediate techniques and advance tricks & tips then it is time to sign up and get ready because these three days will be just what you need.
Aside from the great lessons, video demos, live demos, special speaker, fabric lessons and shopping trip you will be in a room with women who have the same passion and desire to learn. You will make new friends and gain so much from this three day event.
The beauty of LOS ANGELES is the incredible access we will have to the fashion district, a more than 13 block radius of FABRIC including our “host” Michael Levine Inc. where we will spend a glorious time shopping with my guidance and assistance. I will answer all your questions, help you decide on fabric and will give you advice on things to avoid.
