The free feeling of jumping in crisp waters

Hi Darlings, I don’t know about you but my favorite time of the year is summer! There is something about the sun, warmth, crisp waters and free feeling of relaxation that just makes me happy. Glade sent me their “Jump In Crisp Waters” candle and the smell is intoxicating! it makes me want to put on my swimsuit and lay out in the sun, lol. The smell is is like taking a dip into the refreshing scents of watery melon, leafy dewdrop greens and cyclamen.

My favorite memories as a child were of my mom and I laying in the sand and enjoying the smell of summer so when I was asked to create a tablescape inspired by the refreshing smell of my Glade candle so I was so excited that I jumped in my car and went to my local craft store to get busy!

Here is my “Jump In Crisp Waters” inspired table. It’s so fun, so welcoming and makes you want to kick your heels up and free yourself of your day!

SUPPLIES: I decided to use some craft store items so I bought some sea shells, sand, ceramic pieces, netting and some mason jars. I pulled out my summer plates, cups and napkins.

I decided to buy two colors of sand so that I could create center pieces with the mason jars.

STEP ONE: Once I had all my supplies in place I started by laying out the netting on the dining table and I placed some saran wrap underneath to catch the sand.

STEP TWO: I filled the mason jars with sand and layered the colors. Then I topped off the jars with sea shells and pebbles.

STEP THREE: I then added my main pieces to the table so I could add around them and balance the table.

STEP FOUR: I added my sand to the center of the table and then placed my larger seas shells around the mason jars and center of the table. I added my plates and cups.

STEP FIVE: I found these knotted napkin rings which were perfect. I pinched the center of my napkins and simply pulled the ring through.

STEP SIX: Place your napkins on the plates and mix match the colors for interest.

Once it was done I added my Glade candle to the middle of my table.

I love walking into my home and being swept away by the refreshing scent of my Glade candle warmer. My entire house smells like a lakeside getaway.
