SHEER DIY BUTTON UP SHIRT WITH JEANS

HI DARLINGS! Happy Friday. I am loving the weather today, it has finally started warming up in GA and I am here for it! I hate the cold and would prefer to be a sweaty mess any day over shivering, LOL. I am off for the weekend to visit family but wanted to share this last look of the week.

I made this shirt a really long time ago and I never wore it. It is a pattern from my book that will be released in June! I am beside myself waiting. I used this sheer(ish) fabric I had in my stash for the body and satin in a coordinating blue for the placket and collar.

I also wanted to mention that in case you missed it I have added some amazing heel components to the site for those interested in making their own shoes like me! I have a lot more coming along with other supplies you will need. You can check them out here

Happy Friday to you too! I’m so glad to hear the weather is warming up in GA—I’m with you on preferring the heat over the cold any day. Being a sweaty mess is definitely better than shivering, haha!

Your shirt looks absolutely stunning! I love the combination of the sheer fabric with the satin placket and collar—such a chic and unique design. It’s so exciting that the pattern will be in your upcoming book! June can’t come soon enough. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.

Also, thanks for the heads-up about the heel components on your site! I’ve been curious about making my own shoes, so I’ll definitely check those out. Can’t wait to see what other…
