Pre-Thanksgiving Shopping
Hi Darlings!! Thank you all so much for giving me room to be busy these last two weeks. My mom arrived from Seattle yesterday and we have been shopping and getting ready for some serious cooking! As you all know I am puertorican and my hubby is african american so we like to have a blended Thanksgiving. I cook some of my traditional dishes and some of his. This year we have about 18 family members joining for dinner so we will be busy!
The menu will look something like this……
Arroz Con Gandules (Rice w/ Pigeon Peas)
Pernil (Roasted Pork Shoulder)
Puertorican Potato Salad
Collard Greens
Mac and Cheese
Yams
Mashed Potatoes
Smoked Turkey
Stuffing and Gravy
We will have several desserts too!
