MY DIY PATCHWORK DRESS + PATTERN REVIEW M7539
HI DARLINGS! Can we just agree that this is the coolest dress ever? Ok… This is M7539, and although it doesn’t look great on the envelope this pattern has a lot of potential, I made view B with the pockets from view D and used both the wrong and right sides of my stretch denim fabric.
The pattern review is below along with a link to some stretch denim I love. I wore some old Steve Madden chunky heels and Forever 21 sunglasses.
Pattern Description: M7539 Misses romper, dress, and jumpsuit
Pattern Sizing: I cut an 8
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Umm sort of lol
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yeah, this pattern is pretty simple, it doesn’t have a ton of pieces and sews up quickly.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the basic shape and how much I can do with it.
Fabric Used: STRETCH DENIM
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn’t make any changes really. I added pockets to the skirt and used the wrong and right sides of my fabric to create the patchwork.
Would you sew it again? Yes
