DIY Matching Top & Skirt

Hi Darlings, I am so happy you guys like the blog look and format. Like I wrote yesterday there will be a few more things I will be adding but I think this site is easy to navigate, clean and stylish! Yesterday’s post was the fabric haul video from The Fabric Store…In that video I mentioned that I had already made something from two of the fabrics I was showing…Sooooo, here is that look! I made this skirt with only one draped side a few months back and that pattern review can be found HERE. This top is Butterick 6157 which I gave a score of 4.9 as shown at the end of this post. The Butterick pattern was easy to sew, easy to understand and quick.

The fabrics for this look are in yesterday’s post but you can use any type of dress weight fabric like a rayon, crepe, lightweight cotton, lightweight twill, rayon blend or even a chambray!
