DIY LEATHER CROP TOP + THIGH HIGHS
Hi Darlings! Well you guys really liked yesterdays party look, lol! It went bananas on Facebook and IG so thank you….you guys are simply amazing and so supportive. I had a little afternoon appointment so I thought I would wear my Simplicity #1283 View A Crop Top that I made in a lambskin leather I picked up in NY some time ago. The crop top is super easy and easy to make and if you have the pattern (or go get the pattern) I have a FREE sew-along video showing you exactly how to sew it up HERE.
The crop top is awesome (if I do say so myself) lol and is easy to modify. I added 1.5″ to the length so it would fall a little lower. I made the front and the sleeves out of the lambskin, but the turtle neck and the back of the top is from a double knit. I didn’t have enough lambskin, and at $85 a hide I only bought one, lol. The top can be made out of any knit and has a quarter zip in the back.
Here are some optional fabrics you can use 😉 Faux Leather HERE, Genuine Leather HERE, Double Knits HERE… OUTFIT DEETS BELOW.
