DIY JUMPSUIT USING MY SIMPLICITY 8060 PATTERN
HI DARLINGS! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Today’s look from my #DENIMBLUECOLLECTION is this DIY JUMPSUIT using my very own SIMPLICITY #8060 pattern which has a SEW-ALONG VIDEO. I have made this several times and will keep making it because it’s the best jumpsuit pattern ever and can be made with many fabrics for completely different looks.
This is number #6 of my #DENIMBLUECOLLECTION. Pattern, fabric, and details are below. If you have missed the first four looks from my #DENIMBLUECOLLECTION, you can check them all out HERE. I have 3 more to show you after today!
DIY JUMPSUIT INFO AND MODIFICATIONS
This is SIMPLICITY #8060 which also has a SEW-ALONG as mentioned above. I did not make any modifications to this one aside from not adding the pocket flaps. I used this brushed cotton fabric I have had in my stash for a while now. I love how worn out the fabric looks. I wanted to be able to wear it with both heels and sneakers so this was perfect.
I used snaps and a hook an eye for the waist, I also used drawstring cord and clamps which just gave the jumpsuit a cool look. I have made this several times and what I love is how you get a completely different look depending on fabric, you can see the one I made in a brocade fabric HERE and in an army green stretch twill HERE.
