DIY CROP TOP AND WIDE LEG PANTS USING SIMPLICITY 8558
HI DARLINGS! I am so glad it’s Friday, and I am feeling pretty great in my DIY CROP TOP AND WIDE LEG PANTS. I have been on a mission to get back in shape, and my body is feeling it, I am so tired and achy. Tomorrow is my day off so I plan to let my body rest and just enjoy some sewing time, if I can move my arms that is, lol.
This is the third look of my #DENIMBLUECOLLECTION. Pattern, fabric, and details are below. These two pieces are so comfy! If you have missed the first two looks from my #DENIMBLUECOLLECTION, you can check it out HERE.
DIY CROP TOP AND WIDE LEG PANTS INFO AND MODIFICATIONS
These pants are from my SIMPLICITY 8558 PATTERN which also has a SEW-ALONG VIDEO. They are quick and easy to make. I added the self-fabric tie and shortened them by 2″ because I am short, lol. The cropped tank is also from the same pattern.
I used a check fabric I found in the clearance section of MICHAEL LEVINE for $5 a yard I got 2 yards so these are $10 pants. The fabric for my top is also from ML, it’a really great cable knit which I used for my Nettie dress, that look goes up Monday.
