DIY Bell Bottom Pants + Pattern Review Burda 6966
Hi Darlings, I am actually on the road headed to LA but just before leaving I made these pants that I have been wanting to make for weeks. I LOVE THEM and will be making them at least three more times, lol. I need some in denim so those are probably next. These are from Burda Style Vintage 6966. The pattern itself is not difficult at all but picking the right fabric is crucial because you want something that will drape well with the flare if you do View A like I did. *Pattern Review Below*
The top is an old buy from Forever 21 I think, I love how loose and flowing the whole look is but still really classic.
Pattern Description: Misses Bell Bottom Pants Burda 6966
Pattern Sizing: I cut the 8 ( pattern has a lot of ease)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, these pants are very simple, front and back darts, waistband with center back zipper. They sew up quickly once you get the fit you want.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love flares so you know I had to make these.
Fabric Used: I used a stretch twill I had in my stash but any of THESE, THESE OR THESE will work great. (Use my code MIMI10 for 10% off, online on;y)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Just some basic fit adjustments and I added 2″ in length so I could wear the, with my highest heels. (I am only 5′ 4″ tall so I like the height)
