MY FAVORITE NEW LIGHT N GO CORDLESS IRON!

HI DARLINGS! You know that as designers and DIY’ers we rely heavily on our irons just as much as our sewing machines. We sew and press, sew and press, that is how we create amazing garments so having a great iron is so important. When Black + Decker reached out about their new BLACK+DECKER Light ‘N Go Cordless Iron I was ready and willing to give it a try. 

The fact that the iron is cordless was really interesting to me because we all know how many times we wished we could just grab the iron and press without dealing with a cord and in my case an extension cord to have enough length to reach my cutting table. I have so much freedom to move around the studio and I no longer get tangled up!

I really loved how great the vertical steam is so that I could press/steam my garment while on my dress form without having to worry about a cord or water leaking.

The charging base heats up the iron fast and includes a light ring that indicates when the iron needs to recharge and when it’s ready to use.

The nonstick ceramic soleplate retains heat and smooths out wrinkles on a ton of fabrics, I tested it on silk, organza, chiffon, wool, and denim. The steam and spray mist controls let you quickly remove tough creases and wrinkles and it is so incredibly smooth, it slides nicely and is lightweight.

The iron has so many great features including auto shutoff and a large water tank. I am so impressed with the
