HI DARLINGS! I am posting this oldie but goodie which I love. I made and wore this almost two years ago, so I pulled it out for another look. I remember loving this fabric so much, and although it is long gone, there is some foil knit options below.
The shoes are also old from Steve Madden and my earrings were a birthday gift from my son. I added the original review below for you in the event you can find the pattern on Etsy or in one of the Joann drawers.
Pattern: B5950 (out of print)
Fabric Used: ITY Foil Print (options HERE)
Pattern Sizing: I cut the 8
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope when you were done? Yep
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is a pretty quick and easy dress to sew up. The instructions are clear and basic.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the style of the dress and I knew it would look great in my fabric. A simple pattern for a standout fabric. I did not use elastic in the waist as they suggested and just inserted the zipper. The fabric is a stretch knit but there is a waistline seam so pulling it on is not an option.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None other then my usual grading down, the pattern has a lot of ease.
Would you sew it again? Yes, I think I may do it again at some point.
Would you recommend it to others? Yes 😉
