How To Navigate The New Blog
Hi Darlings, I love how much you guys seem to love the new site! I know you have a had a few days to look around but I wanted to point out some of the features I love the most and think are most useful.
You will notice the header has changed a bit and we redesigned our logo this year. I also had the most important tabs combined for ease.
The FASHION & SEWING tab is now easier to navigate and find specific items. You will notice the FASHION & SEWING tab also has a sub-menu with my Fashion (non-DIY) Looks or OOTD’s, my DIY Sewn by Me Looks, Sewing and Craft related posts and Free Tutorials and Pattern Reviews.
We also made sure to add a tab to the menu titled FREE TUTORIALS so that way you can easily go to any of the freebie sew-alongs, tutorials or projects I have posted, and continue to post monthly and sometimes weekly.
Of course there is the LIFESTYLE tab where you will find all my posts on home decor, recipes, beauty, etc. ( I hope to add more posts to this category)
On the home page just under the AMAZING full width slider you will find the LATEST POSTS as seen below. You can catch up on the three latest posts quickly.
Just below that you will see one of my fav features…the DIY FEATURED PROJECT slider. This will have a DIY project I am showcasing or is new.
The FASHION & SEWING section has the six latest posts from either my #OOTD’s or my DIY Looks.
EDITORS PICK will feature something I am really loving, think you could know about or is special to me. I will also be using this section to feature other sites and bloggers.
There are so many options for my blog posts that you will notice they will be a lil different depending on what the post is about. For example, my favorite feature is the one for video like the one shown below…It places the actual video right at the top header so you can just click the play button and watch. It looks so awesome! lol
