DIY One Shoulder Dress + Pattern Review M6320

Hi Darlings!

This dress is #2 of the 4 items I made last Saturday and I LOVE it! I had to make some adjustments to the pattern which I detail below in the review but overall I really love this one and the fabric I got in NY from Kashi @Metrotextiles is perfect for it.

Fabric: Double Knit @Metrotextiles Call Kashi at 212-209-0004 or if you are in NY go visit and tell him I sent you 265 W. 37th #908 NY/ Pattern: M6320 (OOP) but available at Joann and Hancock stores and online HERE / Shoes: Nine West available (option) HERE

Pattern: M6320 View C

Fabric Used: Double Knit @Metrotextiles Call Kashi at 212-209-0004

Pattern Sizing: I cut size 6 and still had to adjust the fit, it was too big, but he princess seams made it easy to take in.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope when you were done? Yep

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they are actually pretty easy to follow along and the pattern pieces come together quickly.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the one shoulder bodice but did not like the skirt with front pleats. I knew it had potential.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I removed the pleats and replaced them with darts because I don’t like pleats on pants or skirts, it creates fullness in the front of the dress which no one needs, lol

Would you sew it again? I may use the top for a jumper I want to make.

Would you recommend it to others? Yes, with adjustments.
