DIY MIXED PRINT DRESS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
HI DARLINGS and HAPPY 42 BIRTHDAY TO ME! I posted a sneak peek of this dress as I was working on it on my IG and I couldn’t wait to share it. It’s totally part of this boho chic vibe I have been on, lol. The fabric mixing is so fun and one of the things I love to do. The large scale and small scale prints work great and have the same color theme running through both.
The pattern is MCCALL 7834 and I can tell you now as much as I love it I will probably not make it again, lol the amount of gathering is insane and even with a gathering foot it’s just a lot so I will need to make sure I am in the right frame of mind when I decided I need another one of these. The FABRIC is from JOANN (not online) but you may want to visit your local store, it is so worth it! I wore my dress with a leopard belt for fun and to break up the print and some chunky heels for height, lol I am after all only 5’4″ and need all the help I can get when wearing maxi-length dresses.
