LACE BORDER DIY DRESS + PATTERN REVIEW #S8296
HI DARLINGS! I have been in bed sick as a dog for two days but today I am feeling better and I am back to work. I should take more time off but I have so much to get done! Today’s pattern review is on SIMPLICITY #8296 I love this dress and I had the perfect fabric for it which is still available HERE
Pattern Description: S8296 Misses dresses and tops
Pattern Sizing: I cut a 10
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Oh yeah, Simplicity does a great job with their instructions and this one is pretty straight forward.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the off the shoulder and how great it was for this fabric.
Fabric Used: Denim with a border lace found HERE
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The only thing I did was add eyelets to the front band for my necktie.
Would you sew it again? Yes, this will stay in rotation for a bit, lol
