DVF INSPIRED DRESS USING SIMPLICITY #8415

HI DARLINGS! Okay so a big reason why we all sew is to be able to recreate designer looks for less so I just like many scour new collections released by my favorite designers and I save those looks to my PINTEREST boards. When I come across the fabric I can use to recreate something I buy it immediately because I have learned that if I go out specifically looking for something I am never going to find it, so I just wait and sure enough when I least expect it I will find something that will work. That is exactly what happened with this DVF dress. I fell in love with this dress! It was a simple modification but if you want me to make a YOUTUBE video for my CHANNEL let me know, and I will show you how I modified the pattern.

I wish I could have found an animal print in three colorways because you all know I love a great animal print but this geo-print worked really great!

The fabric collection is “Blake Cotton Jersey” by Carolyn Friedlander and it’s beautiful. You can get it HERE at LA FINCH FABRICS. Let me know in the comments if you want a step by step on this modification!
