DIY Vogue Top + Skinny Jeans

Hi Darlings, Happy Monday! I had a super productive weekend and I am ready for this week. I can’t believe that this Friday I will be in NY again for my final stop of the Passion to Profit Tour. It has been amazing and I love that I am ending in one of my favorite cities! We are completely sold out and over sold and with the addition of the beautiful Budgetnista the attendees are in for a real treat. I have a ton to do before leaving this week but I am hoping to carve out a little time for some sewing.

Today’s DIY top is actually one I have made before HERE but when I found this remnant piece of fabric I knew I wanted to make myself another one of these tops…Now I can retire the pattern lol! (pattern review below) My necklace is a gift from my doll Tieko ( I think it’s from F21) and my booties are Steve Madden…My sunnies are probably my favorite pair from Tom Ford.

Pattern Description: V8977 View C Very loose-fitting top has front pleats, shaped hemline, wrong side shows on back hemline, and back button

Pattern Sizing:  I cut the x-small (it is very loose fitting and has a ton of ease)

Fabric Used: Rayon Blend Print

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes I think it does.

Were the instructions easy to follow? This is such a great pull over top to make. It’s fast and easy to make. The buttons are sewn on so there are no actual buttonholes needed.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the flowy look, the back, and the buttons.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did not make any.

Would you sew it again? Yes I see a few more in my future

;-)

Would you recommend it to others? Yes!
