DIY TWIST FRONT DRESS + PATTERN REVIEW

HI DARLINGS! I am leaving NY today and headed to Cleveland. We had such wonderful meetings and am looking forward to getting back home to get started and even more stuff lol. Before I left I had time to make McCall 7429 so below is my pattern review and pics.

STYLE IT: Prada Sunnies, Steve Madden Heels, DIY Dress

Pattern Description: McCall 7429 Misses DressPattern Sizing: I cut the 6Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? YesWere the instructions easy to follow? The dress is remarkably fast to sew up and not very difficult at all once you figure out the front twist. I can see this being tricky to a newbie but I always use my own common sense when the instructions or images aren’t that helpful.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love a draped dress and the twist creates a lovely detail.

Fabric Used: I used this great knit print I found in LA.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None.

Would you sew it again? Yep, already did lol!

Would you recommend it to others? Yep.
