DIY TWEED TOP USING BURDA 6475
HI DARLINGS! Happy Wednesday. I have been working like a crazy person trying to get all these different projects wrangled in before the new year. I am hoping to take a “blogging” vacation in December, so I need to get all things squared away. I also have been making time to sew even if it’s just a few quick projects like the one below. This BURDA 6475 pattern was a quick little project. I didn’t want to make it out of denim or knit, so I pulled out this colorful tweed fabric I have had in my stash for some time. It reminds me of candy, lol.
I added buttons to the flaps and shortened it a bit, I planned on wearing it as a dress, but you know… I eyeballed it, and it ended up too short, LOL!!!! so now it’s a top.
I sm wearing my CHENILLE LEGGINGS from TARGET which I am obsessed with at the moment. They are soft, thick and warm. I am wearing my favorite shoes (old…really old from Jessica Simpson) and my CHANEL sunglasses which I picked up at a vintage shop somewhere along my travels.
