DIY CORDUROY OVERALLS + PATTERN REVIEW B6599

HI DARLINGS! I have been waiting to wear these overalls for weeks. I made them during my Christmas break and just had not gotten around to photographing them. These were so fun to make and I can’t wait to make them again. I hadn’t made overalls like these before so it was a fun new project. They came together great! (pattern review below)

I am off to Kansas City this weekend for an event I am hosting so I have to get my mind ready for the cold weather, lol. I will post details so if you are nearby come say hello.

STYLED IT: Demin Shirt FOREVER 21 / Boots STEVE MADDEN

Pattern Description: Burda 6599

Pattern Sizing: I cut size 10 but it was too big so I ended up re-cutting a 6

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, the instructions were very clear and despite how it looks it is actually pretty easy to construct.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the classic overall look with the button side openings.

Fabric Used: Corduroy

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I changed the front pocket style

Would you sew it again? Yes

Conclusion: Great pattern and I would totally recommend it!
